Mitch Adams was born and raised in Greenville, Texas. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Texas in 1994. While going to college, he worked part-time for the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office and the Texas Legislative Council in Austin.
He graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 1998. While in Lubbock, he clerked for Chappell, Lanehart & Stangl, P.C., where he gained invaluable courtroom experience as a law student.
Mitch teaches continuing education seminars to other lawyers on the law of jurisdiction and venue in criminal cases, and strategies for obtaining police officer disciplinary files, which can oftentimes give his clients an advantage in court. His continued dedication to learning and teaching keeps him as up-to-date as you can be on legal developments in criminal and family law cases.
He is a proud member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA) and is a published author several times over in The Voice, the TCDLA’s monthly magazine for criminal defense attorneys. His articles cover a wide range of legal issues in criminal law.
Mitch is the lucky husband of Kerry, and the proud father of two. He is also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tyler, where he volunteers on the church’s mission committee.
Mitch has represented clients from Beaumont to Texarkana. He fights tirelessly for the best possible result in his clients’ cases throughout all of East Texas.
